Why did we choose Zinc3 as a company name?
Well it started many years ago whilst trying to think of a name, I was looking at the periodic table as I wanted something elemental. Zinc (Zn) is a remarkable mineral of “exceptional importance”, It shares many properties that I feel my company should exude:
- It is vital for growth
- It is very reactive, responding quickly to its environment
- When combined with others, provides terrific strength and superior corrosion resistance
It has many uses including; zinc plating (for its corrosion resistance abilities after the discovery in the 1700s of its electrochemical properties), batteries, deodorant and paint! The ’3′ relates to cubed (or power of three), the three main areas in which we work; design, print and media all essential aspects to building a successful brand. The final reason is that it just sounds really cool…
